An absolute 'Must Read'

I have been fortunate enough to sail with Will Oxley in offshore racing, including some Sydney-Hobart's. He has always proven himself to be a consummate professional over the years and as such, it is only natural that he has emerged as a prominent expert in the field of race navigation.
I highly recommend this book to anyone doing any form of offshore racing, not just the budding navigator. It will certainly help all levels of crew understand the decisions made by the 'back of the boat'.

Most up to date read on sailing and technology

This book is a great read for anyone who wishes to learn more about weather, navigation and sailing in general. From the sunday cruisers with an interest in technology to the pro ocean racers, all will learn something. I would event recommend it to all the "virtual regatta" sailors!

Regardless of the level at which you compete, if you have instruments on your boat there is value found for you in this book. Extremely comprehensive and thorough. Well deserving of the accolades it is currently in receipt of in the racing world.
